🖼️ How to set your avatar
You set your avatar directly in the TeamSpeak client — it only takes a few seconds. After that your picture automatically shows up on our homepage Avatar Wall too.
💡 Why in the client? A TeamSpeak avatar is a fixed part of your identity and can only be set by you in the client — a website can't upload it for you. In return we automatically pull your real TS avatar onto our wall. 🎉
🟦 TeamSpeak 3
classic client (TS3)
- Be connected to our server.
- Right-click your own name in the channel list (or use Self in the top menu).
- Click “Set Avatar” (Avatar festlegen).
- Pick an image from your PC → Open. Done! ✅
🟪 TeamSpeak 6
new client (TS6 / TS5)
- Click your profile picture at the top/left → “Account”.
- Next to your name, click the circle with the pencil icon ✏️.
- Click the upload icon ⬆️ (arrow pointing up) and choose an image.
- Adjust the crop → “Save”. Done! ✅
🖼️ Formats
PNG, JPG or GIF (animated too). Recommended: square.
📐 Size
TS3: max. 300×300 px · TS6: max. 320×320 px. Bigger images get cropped/scaled to fit by the client.
🎞️ Animated avatars
Animated GIFs work. On the TS3 client a GIF should already be ≤ 300×300 so the animation is preserved.
⏱️ Already set it, but not on the wall yet? No worries — we fetch the avatars from the server at intervals. So it can take a moment before your new avatar shows up on the homepage.
